Name: Heather Joy Maynard
Tell us a little about yourself: I am a mom of 3 girls and a foster mom of a little boy right now. I also sing in the praise and worship team at church and laides choir. I have a Jr.Church class I teach on Sunday as well. I homeschool my 3 girls and am a stay at home mom. I babysit and try to enjoy each day with my children and surround my self with children. I been married for 10 years and loving having a wonderful husband to share my life with. I lost three babies, two miscarriages and one Son to Triploidy. I have a deep faith in God and try to live my life to Glorify him.
Do you have any children? Yes 3 and hopefully more in the future if God wills it.
When did you join H.A.I.N.? I believe 2008
Why did you join H.A.I.N.? Because I lost a baby boy and two miscarriages and I thought maybe it would be good to have others to relate too.
What do you do for H.A.I.N.? I donate clothes in our local area and try to make things as well when I have time. I knit and sew.
What is your favorite pattern? I like to make my own but I printed off a few..
Why is it your favorite?
What are your donation goals for the month of April? Not sure.
What is your favorite part of being a member of H.A.I.N..? Having loving friends to help grieve and mourn our loss. Its also wonderful to just know someone cares..
More information we may have forgotten you would like to add? (i.e: story, a funny, testimony, if you have an angel and want to share, had premature baby yourself, child who has been in trauma so you relate etc…)
I believe everything I have gone through is for a reason. I await the time I go to heaven to see my babies. I feel a peace knowing that they are in heaven and will never know any hurt or pain. I feel that through this loss I have become a better mother for my other children. I love them more and try to live each day like it was my last. I take time to hug them more and hold them more because you never know how long you truly have.
Just a ordinary mom doing extraordinary things through Christ.
Whatsoever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus. Colossians 3:17
