From: My Shoes

My Shoes

I am wearing a pair of shoes.

They are ugly shoes.

Uncomfortable shoes.

I hate my shoes.

Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair.

Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step.

Yet, I continue to wear them.

I get funny looks wearing these shoes.

They are looks of sympathy.

I can tell in other's eyes that they are glad they are my shoes and nottheirs.

They never talk about my shoes.

To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable.

To truly understand these shoes you must walk in them.

But, once you put them on, you can never take them off.

I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes.

There are many pairs in this world.

Some women are like me and ache daily as they try to walk in them.

Some have learned how to walk in them so that they don't hurt quite somuch.

Some have worn the shoes so long that days will go by before they think

about how much they hurt.

No woman deserves to wear these shoes.

Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman.

These shoes have given me the strength to face anything.

They have made me who I am.

I will forever walk in the shoes of a woman who has lost a child.

Merry Christmas From Heaven:

I still hear the songs

I still see the lights

I still feel your love on cold wintry nights

I still share your hopes

And all of your cares

I'll even remind you

To please say your prayers

I just want to tell you

You still make me proud

You stand head and shoulders

Above all the crowd

Keep trying each moment

To stay in His grace

I came here before you

To help set your place

You don't have to be perfect

All of the time

He forgives you the slip

If you continue the climb

To my family and friends

Please be thankful today

I'm still close beside you

In a new special way

I love you all dearly

Now don't shed a tear

I'm spending my Christmas

With Jesus this year

WHAT HAIN MEANS TO ME

HAIN is more than a place to gather and share.

HAIN is a family, where you will find others who care.

Our HAIN family allows you to be yourself,

without having to hide anger or grief.

HAIN is a family that wipes your tears when you weep.

By joining HAIN

and sharing your pain,

you have everything to gain.

Your tears are not in vain.

There's always a HAIN sister to encourage, offer compassion and understand.

You will soon know you are not alone.

You can feel many warm kind smiles

as you are offered kind words and hugs across the miles.

By sharing your sorrow,

it will help you have a brighter tomorrow.

As you heal,

you will one day begin to feel

that your life is again worthwhile.
